The ‘Happy Pineapple’ Smiles Upon the Nike Air Zoom Type Premium

Nike have recently blessed a number of their models with ‘Happy Pineapple’ makeovers. So far, the smiling tropical fruit has landed on the tongues of the Air Max 95 and Air Max 90. Now, an ultra-sustainable Nike Air Zoom Type Premium is next up to receive the treatment, with the pineapple no doubt rocking an extra satisfying grin because of the Move to Zero materials used!

Apart from the loud tongue embroidery, the biggest eye-catcher on the shoe would have to be the sole unit created with speckled material, potentially hinting that there could be sustainable materials involved. Cork, which has been a hot topic in 2021, can be seen on the eyestays on the perforated black fabric backdrop. Along either side is ‘Green Glow’ exposed stitching, while a printed Swoosh completes the look.

Similar to the other ‘Happy Pineapple’ releases, the Nike Air Zoom Type Premium doesn’t have an exact release date. However, we do hear it should be arriving over the coming few months. We’ll keep you updated when a drop date becomes available.
