This week marks the release of The Hundreds x Supermax collaborative collection, including a limited edition range of tees, sweats, and a coaches jacket, based on original artwork from the OG streetwear brand, alongside The Hundreds branding. In 1991, the Supermax boutique brought LA's hardcore swap meet style to Melrose Ave, in the heart of Hollywood, and quickly became a hub for street/hip-hop fashion. The store's founder, Lucky Luciano, teamed up with Mr. Cartoon and Estevan Oriol, to release an in-house clothing label by the same name. The graphics were all illustrated by hand by Mr. Cartoon, based on Lucky's lifestyle and concepts. Nearly two decades later, we dusted off the original film, added a few touches, and Supermax, a true pioneer of LA street style, is back in full effect. The collection will be available from THLA and THSF this Thursday 11th March.
