The Nike Air Max 95 ‘Greedy 3.0’ is for Voracious Airheads
The concept returns to the for the third time, earning the straightforward ‘Greedy 3.0’ moniker. Like previous iterations of the blended palettes, these AM95s feature multiple OG colour schemes on the one pair of shoes. However, unlike the two versions that featured asymmetrical panelling, this colourway sees a more balanced approach.
Things have taken a decidedly more OG direction for the ‘Greedy 3.0’, evidenced by the ‘greydient’ microfibre upper of the Sergio Lozano–designed runner. This aspect is as it should be, with the darker strips at the bottom half leading to lighter shades towards the lace loops. The toe cap is dark grey, not quite black – basically a charcoal colour, which is period correct. As are each of the accenting colours on the lace loops when looked at individually: ‘Neon’, plus what’s likely ‘Photo Blue’ and ‘Solar Red’. Because these colours are arranged in sequence, the surrounding zones are coloured to match. In this case, the forefoot Air units match the ‘Neon’ loops, while ‘Solar Red’ fills the heel units. Additionally, the lateral heel Swoosh, insole and tongue logo are matching in the latter colour.
