The first silhouette that donned the colours of the fictional organisation was the , and now it looks like their latest recruit, the , has put on its uniform. While the shape of this AMRC-themed looks mostly unchanged, there have been some tweaks made, breathing new life into the decades-old silhouette.
The material mix has us intrigued! The ‘Light Photon Blue’ base layer looks to be made entirely of canvas that’s been injected with foam padding. The major contrast points come from the ‘University Red’ veins and toe cap. The mudguard and rear panel choose suede material, also on the heel, there’s no TN branding it instead features a similar-shaped Nike Air logo. The insole branding has also been switched up, boasting a specialised ‘Air Max Running Club’ graphic.
The biggest change to the look of the Air Max Plus actually comes from the midsection, where the usual tongue has been replaced with a retro-style Nike Air tongue. It’s been created with neoprene and has also been injected with foam padding. The rope laces have been switched as well, choosing vintage running style flat laces instead.
Specific release details for the Nike Air Max Plus ‘Air Max Running Club’ aren’t available right now. However, with the official pics surfacing we think a drop is imminent! Keep those eyes peeled at your local Swoosh stockist.
