The Simpsons x adidas Rivalry 86 Low ‘Treehouse of Horror’ Is Spine-Tingling

The Three Stripes team can’t get enough of sunny Springfield lately. This year, we’ve had numerous adidas renditions of the cartoon classic, including the meme-worthy Stan Smith ‘Homer Simpson’ and a Gazelle that took cues from the famous yellow and blue colour scheme. These releases followed a blockbuster period for adidas and The Simpsons, which culminated in beloved member of the family (Snowball) appearing on the Superstar and Ned Flanders popping his head over the fence for a McCarten.

Now, adidas are once again revisiting everybody’s favourite cartoon family, with the adidas Rivalry 86 Low appearing in a ‘Treehouse of Horror’ colourway just in time for Halloween.

Drawing inspiration from Hugo, Bart’s long-lost evil twin, the non-canon character first made his appearance in the Treehouse of Horror 7, airing back in 1996.

Manufactured in a mix of shaggy canvas materials intended to resemble Hugo’s tattered clothing (he was locked in the attic and fed fish heads, after all!), the model features numerous lacing options and special-edition box.

Look out for The Simpsons x adidas Rivalry 86 Low ‘Treehouse of Horror’ to land this Halloween season in select retailers and on adidas.
