There's A Face on Kerwin Frost and adidas' Forum Hi 'Humanchives'
Kerwin Frost is the lighthearted court jester of the sneaker world. Earlier in 2021, he teamed up with for a 'Superstuffed' that was made to appear five sizes larger than it was, but now he's back with an even more odd (and borderline frightening) style: a dubbed 'Humanchives.'
There's no easy way to describe the 'Humanchives' other than to say it looks like a face-inspired collage pasted on a shoe. Its base is a classic white and blue high-top , but you'd hardly even notice that because all your attention is immediately drawn to its embellishments.
A rubberized 'mouth' is spread across the toe bumper, featuring a set of pearly white teeth surrounded by clean pink gums. There's also a Mr. Potato Head-esque nose that's used as a lace deubre and tilted blue eyes secured to the laces. In teaser photos posted by Frost himself, there was also a long blonde ponytail secured to the heel – but that appears to be absent here, indicating that it's detachable. Frost's cartoon-style logo can also be seen on the collar strap, which is secured by a pink buckle.
At the time of writing, there's no info on when the Kerwin Frost x adidas Forum Hi 'Humanchives' will release. However,r the reveal of official images indicates that it may be hitting shelves in the coming weeks.
