These Nike Dunk Lows Are Made From Scraps
have continued to push their to new heights in 2021, and now they’ve evolved the sneaker into a new iteration called the Scrap. Our first look at the shoe has emerged in a ‘Sea Glass’ colourway.
The Nike Dunk has been on a tear since it dominated last year in both its regular and , while plenty of collaborations were created to maintain the hype. Some of these link ups saw brands reimagine their own colourways for the shoe, and there were some that actually changed the existing structure of the silhouette. The perfect example would be , who extended the side Swoosh and reworked the heel tooling. Now, it seems Team Swoosh are looking to go off by themselves to rehash the beloved Dunk.
Our first look at the Nike Dunk Low Scrap ‘Sea Glass’ comes in the form of imagery from sneaker leaker brandon1an. The Dunk shape looks to have been kept relatively intact, however the upper has been created using a broad range of materials all slapped on in different spots. Looking like a Frankenstein creation, mesh acts as a base, with diagonal and uneven cuts of leather layered over the top. Suede pops and reinforced side stitching complete the look.
