Tom Sachs Delivers a Nike Mars Yard 2.5 Sneak Peek
We’ve been drip-fed rumours regarding the next variation of the x throughout 2020, with the best look delivered by Half Gallery boss Bill Powers when he shared shots of a potential . Those shots certainly raised a few eyebrows, and now the man himself – Tom Sachs – has delivered his own intriguing tease.
Shared via his , Sachs is seen wearing another version of the Mars Yard 2.5, which appears to have a new cushioning setup in the midsole, as well as gum-coloured waffle pattern on the outsole, as opposed to the previously seen black. The black rubberised toe bumper reinforcement is still present, as is the translucent TPU insert on the midfoot, red Swoosh branding, beige overlays, and metal hardware, which are all familiar traits for the Mars Yard cannon.
Many of you will recall that Powers suggested his pair was ‘NFS’, leading to many assuming the sneaker would be a Friends and Family drop. With the reveal of the latest pair, the official release of the Mars Yard 2.5 is still up in the air. Could Sachs be sporting the wider release pair?
