A Rare Look at the F&F Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 ‘Yellow Cactus Jack’
The ‘Cactus Jack’ is considered one of best sneaker collaborations. It was released in late 2019 to instant sell-out success and still commands a hefty price on the secondary market. There’s also a rare friends-and-family edition that replaces the olive uppers with mustard yellow – considering there aren’t that many examples in circulation, has pulled off the near impossible by sourcing a pair.
Colourway aside, there aren’t that many differences to the retail version of this AJ6. Scott’s colabs have always afforded him some bespoke options, which can be seen here via the ankle pouches and custom tongue lining. There’s also some Cactus Jack branding hidden deep behind the distinct tongue pull tabs. Returning to the colours, the yellow nubuck is vibrant against the black bandana print canvas tongue and Air-cushioned midsole. The red accents are reprised from the regular pair and stand out similarly here.
Jordan Brand confirmed back in 2020 that this pair will not be releasing to the public, so enjoying these images is the next best thing.
