On-Foot Look at the Two 18 x Air Jordan 2 Low
have been throwing a lot of muscle behind the this year, tapping everyone from fine artists to musicians and streetwear brands to put their spin on it. Shops like Manilla's and Los Angeles' are among those ranks as well, and now the Midwest is set to get some AJ 2 love as Detroit's Two 18 will be taking on the Air Jordan 2 Low.
Two 18 is a new sister store to Burn Rubber, one of Detroit's most storied sneaker boutiques, and this low-cut take on second signature sneaker is their first big colab. Shown off in on-foot photos from , its main colours are a duo of elegant brown shades dubbed 'Rocky Tan' and 'British Tan,' though some Detroit Pistons-style flair is provided by 'Gym Red' and 'Team Royal' piping. There's also a hit of ice blue on the outsoles.
The overall build of the Two 18 x Air Jordan 2 Low is decidedly striking, but what's most interesting about it is its little details. The insoles display a map of the Detroit metro area, showing special love to Flint, Pontiac and southwest Detroit by way of marker-like red lines, while both the laces and the inner tongue tag offer up custom 'Been Through It All' graphics that, although yet to be pinpointed, likely nod to pieces of Detroit history. A custom hangtag completes the look.
At the time of writing, we're still awaiting an official release date for the Two 18 x Air Jordan 2 Low. However, it's likely to release sometime this forthcoming holiday season. When it does, it'll be priced at $200.
