Tyler, the Creator's Louis Vuitton Colab Is Here
is known for being one of the music scene’s best-dressed artists, and his playful style has earned him collaborations to boot. Hailing from California, the rapper is well-versed within the fashion industry, from rocking back in the Odd Future days to committing to a full Bellhopper aesthetic for his Igor album rollout. Having worked with the likes of , , and more recently Clarks Originals, Tyler Okonma has just landed one of his biggest joint projects to date: a collection with .
The capsule marks his first collaborative menswear collection and features bold colours and hand-drawn motifs throughout, which Tyler himself refers to as the ‘Craggy Monogram’. Golf references are scattered through the collection, calling back to Tyler’s own distinguishable aesthetic, and pastel colours feature prominently, just as they did within the rapper’s Converse colabs. Footwear-wise, Tyler has prepped sandals with waffle-style uppers, chunky pastel Derby shoes with wavy soles, and a mid-cut boot.
Working alongside on the collection, Tyler took to Instagram to thank him for ‘throwing him the keys’. With an extensive track record in sneakers behind him, and now recognition from the world’s biggest luxury brand, these are exciting times for the Odd Future alumni. Take a look at the collection above and expect it to hit stores in March.
