NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton Signs With PUMA
Tyrese Haliburton is not only a franchise player, NBA All-Star, and Olympic Gold Medalist, but now the face of Hoops. As reported by Nick DePaula Sunday, Haliburton signed a multi-year deal with PUMA to be the leading athlete of their Hoops division. Haliburton has long been a Nike athlete, and in recent years he became known for not only his great play on the court but also his array of Kobe Protro PEs. Even as recently as this summer during the Olympics, he debuted Team USA-inspired colourways of the Kobe 6. Last week at the Pacer’s media day, he garnered attention by rocking a pair of patent leather Prada loafers and donned socks that he had rolled to cover the Nike logo. His move to Puma now perhaps sheds more light on the media day fit.
This signing comes just in time for the NBA season as training camp across the league began last week. It also follows the news of PUMA securing the talents of renowned designer to help find their next signature athlete and design a signature shoe.
