UNDEFEATED x Nike Dunk Low Revealed via UNDFTD x McLaren Indy 500 Project
Unveiled as part of an upcoming McLaren Indy 500 collaboration, a brand new x colourway has been spotted on the feet of the brand’s co-founder James Bond. The special project involves UNDEFEATED giving the AMSP #7 car a camo-clad makeover ahead of the famed Indianapolis 500 race, but sneakerheads will no doubt be more interested in the latest uber-hyped sneaker from the LA-based retailer.
Rumours of the collaboration began circulating all the way , and now we’ve finally got the official reveal. Borrowing the ‘Inside Out’ theme from a sought-after Air Force 1 Low collaboration in 2006, the colourway is known as ‘Canteen’ (and was joined by a second purple version). In fact, the sneaker is part of an upcoming AF-1/Dunk crossover project, which will revisit past concepts, swapping the colourways and themes on opposing models. At this point, we still have no pics of the Air Force 1, but they could potentially be based on UNDEFEATED’s OG Dunk Highs from 2001, or the ‘Clerks Pack’ from 2005.
No exact release date has been revealed. However, UNDEFEATED have confirmed a June drop. Stay tuned for more info!
