On-Foot: Union x Nike Dunk Low 'Midnight Navy'

Chris Gibbs' Union and Nike are set to go on quite the sneaker journey in 2022 thanks to their duo of Dunk Low colabs. Inspired by traditional paper plane tickets and loaded with special details, they're decidedly international – and ahead of their debut, we've been blessed with an on-foot look at the 'Midnight Navy' pair thanks to sneaker insider @yankeekicks.

Featuring a full synthetic casing and gridded pattern detailing, the 'Midnight Navy' blends its eponymous hue with an icy green shade for two-tone contrast. Silver Swooshes and heel pieces are both made from hi-vis reflective material, and special branding is served up by Union's frontman logo on the lateral heel plus a familiar yellow tag on the lateral quarter. There are also a handful of loose threads hanging from the upper, and although these are usually indicative of poor quality control they appear to be intentional here.

At the time of writing, an official release date for the Union x Nike Dunk Low 'Midnight Navy' has yet to be announced. However, early reports place its arrival in April 2022 with an MSRP of $150.
