Sotheby’s Auctioning Unreleased Supreme x Nike SB Dunks for $4-6K
Got a spare $4-6K lying around? If so, you could place a bid on an unreleased x sample from 2021.
have listed the unreleased Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low in ‘Court Purple’ for auction. Part of the auction house’s ‘Emergence’ range, the pair is an early sample from the duo’s 2021 ‘SB Dunk Low’ line. The March 2021 drop arrived in ‘Black/White’, ‘Barkroot Brown’, ‘Mean Green’, and ‘Hyper Blue’.
Based on the Dunk Highs from Supreme’s second Nike colab in 2004, the low cut range was constructed with faux crocodile skin and gold stars on the upper’s middle panel. In contrast, this unreleased pair sports a crisp purple paint job with gold Nike branding replacing the side panel’s star detailing. But other details remain consistsent, such as the tongue’s golden stitched Nike branding and the likewise metallic gold deubre sporting the Supreme logo. Rare sample connoisseurs will recognise some similar design elements to the auctioned by auction platform last year.
Sotheby’s have set the bidding range between $4,000 to $6,000. The auction will begin December 8 and finish up on December 18.
