have unleashed Episode 1 of their new six-part dubbed The Story of , which retraces the history of the iconic silhouette in all its forms.
The Story of Dunk dives headfirst into the sneaker’s debut on university hardwoods in 1985, telling the story of the famed releases, before moving onto the silhouette’s evolution on the concrete of the streets.
In this first episode, sneaker historian Scoop Jackson, Jeff Staple, Chris Gibbs, and others look back at the Dunk’s historic debut, and how it paved the way for a rapid rise.
Undoubtedly one of the most loved sneakers of all time, the Dunk has experienced a wild in 2020. The crew in Beaverton have been planting seeds for this comeback for years, but even they couldn’t have predicted the mind-blowing response which has ensued.
