Between a Supreme colab and a NOCTA remix that's been teased by Drake, it's a busy stretch for Nike's classic Air Zoom Flight 95. However, like the old adage goes, 'nothing beats a classic,' and the Air Zoom Flight 95's timeless 'Black Metallic' colourway is set for its first return to market since 2015.

Upon its original release in 1995, the Air Zoom Flight 95 quickly became famous for the bug-eyed carbon fibre circles on its midsole, its signature Zoom Air tech, its memorable 'The Revolution Will Not Be Televised' TV ad, its 'phone number' print ad and, most importantly, its association with Jason Kidd, a then-rising superstar who manned the point for the Dallas Mavericks. Besides Kidd, several other NBA players had a moment with the Air Zoom Flight 95 as well: Juan Howard wore it during the 1996 NBA All-Star Game, and Brent Barry sported it during his victory in that year's Slam Dunk Contest as well.

The Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 'Black Metallic' is set to begin its return to market on May 6, when it releases at European stockists.
