Where to Buy the Air Jordan 1 KO 'Storm Blue'
The is a slightly obscure edition of the that originally released in 1986 alongside the OG and silhouettes. Earlier this year, the AJ1KO made a surprising comeback in a colourway and was used by for her recent collaboration. Both releases were well received, and now Jordan Brand have their sights set on the ‘Storm Blue’ as their next endeavour.
The history of the Air Jordan 1 KO is somewhat controversial, with some believing that the ‘KO’ stands for ‘knock-off’, due to the construction and materials used. The KO version takes subtle cues from the original AJ1, however a few tweaks, like the use of canvas to cover the bulk of the shoe, has drastically change its iconic appearance. Leather is present, but only around the ankle collar and Swoosh. The final change is the Wings logo which reads ‘AJKO’.
Over the past month, stores have slowly started releasing the Air Jordan 1 KO ‘Storm Blue’. However, the official SNKRS release date has been locked in for September 29!
