Jordan Brand have started 2021 off strong with the first Air Jordan 1 of the year, dubbed the ‘Volt Gold’. We got our first look at this loud-AF AJ1 way back in September of 2020, before fresh pics surfaced in November. Now we’re prepped and ready for its imminent release.

Taking a closer look at this pretty unconventional colour combo, we can only assume that Nike are taking notes from the ultra-successful ‘ Biohack’ iteration, which made waves last year. A mix of white and black leather has been used as the base, setting the tone, while obnoxious pops of ‘Volt’ and ‘University Gold’ add a splash of colour. Another interesting little detail is that the tongue tag has been reversed, adding a Virgil Abloh-esque touch.
