A Yeezy 150 Samba Sample Has Surfaced

Ye’s partnership with adidas is slowly coming to a close as the German brand sells off its remaining Yeezy stock following the prolonged dramatic end to their partnership. One part of the almost-decades-long venture that fans will miss most is the emergence of wild samples that never saw the light of day, like this Yeezy 150.

This pair was first spotted back in 2019 through blurry leaked imagery, and later A$AP Bari shared a mock-up high-top variation to his Instagram Story. Dubbed the 150 Samba, it’s Ye’s take on adidas’ trending silhouette and exudes somewhat of a skate feel. Dressed in a simplistic Black/Gum, the upper has been doused in suede and boasts a chunky padded construction. Along the lateral side where you would usually see ‘Samba’, Ye has swapped it out for ‘Wyoming’.

Over the years of Yeezy, there have been some zany samples that have emerged, from high-top BOOST 700 Highs to the wild 1050 boot. Even during Ye’s Air Yeezy years there’s been the ‘Mismatch’ sample and one-of-one prototype.

As the partnership between Ye and adidas has been officially terminated, you probably won’t get a chance to cop the Yeezy 150 Samba.
