AMBUSH founder Yoon Ahn has confirmed two more colourways of the much-hyped Nike Air More Uptempo collaboration. The creative director revealed the news exclusively to Sneaker Freaker at an event in Sydney celebrating the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Launching on August 4, the OG AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo Low ‘Limestone’ was manufactured in a tightly-knit mesh base, with panelling in its titular hue throughout. On the heels, thick, cord-like pull tabs emphasised a utilitarian aesthetic, which was further extended via the thick dark green laces. Of course, classic oversized ‘AIR’ branding featured on both the lateral and medial sidewalls, while down below, the shoe’s chunky midsoles were completely blacked out.

As part of the launch, AMBUSH also collaborated on a Nike jersey and a co-branded metallic football.

‘Fashion is an incredibly powerful form of self-expression. It can be used to express identity, beliefs, and personal style,’ said Yoon in a statement.

‘This collection has diverse elements that you can dress up and down to express masculine and femme energy through the eye of sport, and I’m excited to see how people will create their own unique style interpretations with the pieces.’

No release details have been shared on the upcoming colourways, but make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
