Get Ready to CollectFest!

Collectfest 2025

The collectable scene is bustling thanks to social media hyping the hobby of acquiring limited sneakers, trading cards, coins and countless other treasures. In Australia, the space has grown to never-before-seen levels, and while online AU-based collectors are connecting at growing rates, IRL experiences are few and far between. This is where CollectFest comes in, Down Under’s first-ever festival dedicated to all things collectable. Bringing together fandoms from across the spectrum, the event will see sneakers shown alongside trading cards, comics, toys, coins, stamps and sports memorabilia. CollectFest is kicking off in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney between July and August next year, and early bird tickets are on sale now.

Booths have started to get locked in, such as Allen Sarayeldin aka @arezkicks, sneaker seller and a CollectFest partner. Sarayeldin said: ‘Australia has been missing an event that brings together all collectables and hobbies in one place. It’s a unique opportunity to combine and celebrate our passions, fostering connections and spreading joy’. Over 500 vendors have joined the ranks for the inaugural event so far, including Creased, OnTheRunKicks, Junior Kicks & Vintage Clothing, Schumi Boxes, The Royal Australian Mint, Ozzie Collectables, The Hobby Australia and Retro Sports. Registration is still open for vendors, so you still have time to join the many who're already preparing their booths. Whether you amass coins, comics, or have a heater stack of sneaks tucked away, CollectFest is open to any and all. Head here for all the information you need to become a vendor.

Besides vendors, there will also be special guests and activations, including Gary Haase, aka ‘King Pokémon’, the man who sold Logan Paul the $5.2 million record-breaking Charizard card. On top of that, Australia’s largest music poster collection will be on show and a three-point competition will have sharp shooters battling it out for prizes. Nick Kyrgios’s collector subscription service, UNLCKD, will also be out in full force and will bring a colossal line-up to the main stage including panels and Q&A sessions. Needless to say, there’ll be a plethora of delights to geez at and participate in.

CollectFest will kick off in Melbourne between July 5–6, then move to Brisbane during July 26–27 and round out in Sydney between August 23–24. Discounted early-bird tickets are now available, so head here to cop yours.
