Coperni and PUMA Are Back With More Avant Garde Kicks

have continued to bolster their presence in the fashion scene with plenty of high-profile colabs that have social media in a whirl. The has been the main model the Big Cat has used to spearhead their fashionable foray, and there’s been plenty of reinterpretations. French brand have now added their own to the mix, releasing two pairs alongside more of their futuristic 90SQRs.

This partnership has been successful for both parties, with PUMA’s Global Creative Director Heiko Desens saying in 2023: ‘Coperni is a visionary, futurist partner. We want to bring innovation and technology into the fashion space, and that really excites me.’ Coperni’s founders also said, ‘We are so grateful to PUMA for opening us the doors of their innovation department. We look forward to seeing people wearing our common avant-garde and sharp aesthetic.’

For this new take, Coperni have turned the legendary motorsport-geared Speedcat into a structured dress shoe that has been engineered to the same specs as a football boot. The fresh iterations of the Speedcat joins a wider apparel collection that includes an asymmetrical gown and top which have been crafted with performance fabrics. There’s also a reinterpretation of Coperni’s horned hoodie and Swipe Bag with the Big Cat logo. The collection is rounded out with more colourways of the 90SQR hybrid, as Coperni have dressed their square-toed model in 'Blue Gloss' and 'Black'.

The latest from Coperni and PUMA will launch via the Big Cat’s channels on November 16.
