NYC to the World: Kith x New Balance 2010 Upcoming

The wheels of Kith keep on turning. Earlier this month Kith published the lookbook for their latest collection. A music video produced for the latest single from Kith Records, ‘New York to the World’ was released alongside it. Showcasing the new Kith clothing capsule, the marketing material featured New York legends Fabolous and Jadakiss. Spotted on their feet were unreleased New Balance pairs. At the time they remained unknown, now new leaks reveal a clearer picture. Kith has applied their signature colourist flair to the New Balance 2010.

The New Balance 2010 is a new offering from the Boston brand. Its DNA reflects 990 design language while featuring modernized reworking. It utilises the New Balance signature suede overlays and mesh panels. Although perhaps sleeker in build, the NB2010 resembles the NB990v6. In the Kith lookbook the sneakers were peeking out from underneath some baggy pants, and new images just revealed the shoes in full. There are two pairs. The first is a bold mixed-berry-esque colourway, with a mix of pinks, purples, and blues. The second dons a more subtle blacked-out look with hits of yellow and salmon. Kith’s legacy is already cemented, these continue the heritage of colour-blocking excellence.

No official release timeline has been announced yet, but parts of the collection showcased in the lookbook are currently available. The new images surfacing could indicate a drop is forthcoming. Stay tuned for details as soon as they become available.
