2002’s Nike ‘Viotech’ Air Trainer 3 is Coming Back!
It seems 2020 is full of unexpected twists and turns. The next development that nobody saw coming is the retro of ‘Viotech’. The OG was a certified golden-era release for old ’heads at the turn of the millennium.
Originally known as the Air Trainer SC in 1988, this purple-maroon stomper was renamed the Air Trainer 3 B in 2002. Dressed in two-tone leather, the sneaker has golden accents that cover the midsole strip and Swoosh, bordered by a grey plastic heel counter and forefoot/ankle lace straps. Hopefully they come with yellow laces, too! However, the real question is if AT3 retros will still be a nightmare for pinky toes. If you know, you know…
With semi-regular retros of the AT3, we guess it’s not too crazy that the ‘Viotech’ will be returning. Regardless, it’s a nice surprise. Stay tuned for release dates.
UPDATE: The 'Viotech' Air Trainer 3 is scheduled to release on Nike SNKRS on June 2. Mark your calendars!
