A Closer Look at the size? x Nike Air Max 1 'Safari'
Sneaker history has seen few years as momentous as 1987, the year Tinker Hatfield introduced visible Air and changed the game. The revolutionised sneakers, but Tinker wasn’t done; he followed it up with the Air Safari, whose ostrich-skin print became a Swoosh staple.
London retailer have joined forces with to celebrate the Safari and are following last week’s Air Max 95 with an OG Max done in a similar fashion.
The 1 sees black and grey speckles wrap around the upper, while ‘Monarch’ orange pops call back to the original colour scheme. A white midsole and black, grey and orange outsole complete this 1987 tribute.
