A Detailed Look at the AMBUSH x Converse Colab

Yoon Ahn’s made a ruckus at the turn of 2019 when an on-foot shot of a rubberised Chuck hit the airwaves. Now, we’ve finally got a detailed look.

Featuring a and , the colab draws from the US Military’s ‘Bunny Boot’ (also known as ‘Mickey Mouse Boot), which is said to have also inspired the adidas Ozweego.

The military’s version was designed for extremely cold weather, and could withstand temperatures of up to -60°F. Just like the army edition, the AMBUSH colab comes in white or black. What they lack in sub-zero combat abilities, the Chucks make up in style. Converse branding is added to the sides and bold AMBUSH lettering sits below a protruding license plate.

Pairs will deploy at select Converse stockists on October 19, perfect for the northern hemisphere's colder months.
