A Gold-Covered Nike LeBron 9 'Watch the Throne' Sample Surfaces

In honour of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne tour of 2011, dropped a limited edition Givenchy-inspired dressed in regal black and gold foil and floral patterns. Fast forward to 2019, and it looks like the Throne is under threat yet again.

Following up on the LeBron 16 take we saw , a new gold-dipped version of the LeBron 9 has surfaced. Still packing plenty of flower power, the colourway gets an all-over gold look and a modern glow-in-the-dark sole unit.

Unfortunately, release info for these new ‘Watch the Throne’ joints is scarce at the moment. We’ll keep our ears to the ground for any updates.
