A Kyrie 3 'Fear' for the NBA's Most Terrifying Opponent
Since moving on from Cleveland, is fast becoming one of the most exciting players to watch in the league. To actually play against the point guard, though? That's got to be one terrifying match-up.
Halloween's been and gone, but we all know that Mr Flat Earth lives on a planet (or horizontal plane) of his own. Perhaps reflecting on his new role as the fear-inspiring face of the franchise, the Ankletaker took on the Magic in a spooky 'Fear' PE.
With gooey green soles and spookily dark uppers, these kicks look straight from the witch's cauldron. The player's potion certainly countered the dark arts Orlando brought to the court, with Kyrie's concoction overpowering the Magic in a 118-103 win. Adding to the horror movie vibes, illustrations of bare trees sprout from the sole. Do they reference Kyrie's now-severed roots with Cleveland? Are they meant to represent his career's regrowth in Boston?
Anyway, have fun deciphering the meaning behind these Kyrie 3s: it'll distract you from the fact that you'll probably never see a retail release of these PEs. However, the colourway's been doing the rounds on social and it's definitely one of the nicest Celtics colourways we've seen in some time: hopefully this will inspire the Swoosh to unleash the 'Fear' on us all.
