Featuring a mix of mesh, synthetic leather and reflective elements, the most notable material addition is no doubt the thin layer of synthetic materials on the toe box and quarter of both pairs, with the material tweak giving the collaboration a trail-esque sensibility. Both black and white editions of the Above the Clouds x ASICS GT-2160 feature all the patented tech that made the line popular, including iconic GEL cushioning, TRUSSTIC System (reducing the weight of the sole unit), and Duomax Support, which helps to correct overpronation by providing a dormer density on the inside of the midsole.
