ASICS’ GT-2160 has been one of the brand’s major silhouette launches of 2023, with the ATC co-sign connecting the worlds of performance, art, fashion and design. Featuring an eye-catching blend of mixed materials, the result delivers a refinement of the GT-2160, while also pushing the boundaries of product development, craftsmanship and design philosophy. As such, you’ll find aesthetic colourful accents complemented with metallic finishes.
In terms of deeper inspiration, ATC looked to Japanese architecture and product design, with the collaboration’s composition seamlessly combining traditional and contemporary elements, drawing upon the unwavering commitment to meticulous Japanese craftsmanship. The theme of transparency also runs through the design, with the NEXKIN upper giving wearers the option to customise their appearance while staying true to the technical design language of the GT-2000 series.
