Above The Clouds Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary with ASICS GEL-1090 Collaboration

It’s a cause for celebration! Sydney boutique are hitting 10 years in the retail game, and they’re marking the occasion with their first-ever sneaker collaboration, on the .

This colab espouses ASICS’ brand pillar of ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ – two things ATC boss man Dimitri Calligeros has held down for a decade while at the helm. It’s also the first collaborative effort for the GEL-1090 since its 2019 retro.

Tonal beige mesh and lightweight synthetic sets the clean base for the mid-2000s runner, interspersed with OG ASICS blue accents along the heel counter and toe bumpers. Custom touches like see-through Tiger Stripes, clear GEL inserts, ‘MIND’ and ‘BODY’ tongue labels, and raised Above The Clouds heel tabs up the flair of this understated SMU.

Sneakerheads Down Under get first dibs at an in-store launch on March 28. While the rest of the world will have to wait until April 4 for a chance to cop from top-tier retailers like Kith, Dover St Market, SNS, and END.
