Update January 19, 2022: Following the recent reveal that adidas was resurrecting their 1996 Adimatic skate shoe, three more colourways have surfaced! Another green, an orange and a blue will all be hitting shelves as well, hopefully soon.
When compared to offerings from other brands, the skate archive of is a relatively untouched goldmine. Someone at Herzo seems to have finally tapped into this under-utilised part of the Three Stripes’ catalogue with the return of the Adimatic model from circa 1996, which has always been a very in-the-know design. And, judging from these official shots, it looks like they’ve done a pretty good job of replicating it over 25 years after its debut.

The emergence of these official images mean the Adimatic must be returning soon. It appears the OG green colourway is locked in, plus another period-looking black suede is coming too. While this quirky model may not garner the same hype and attention as some other shoes, it’s definitely an interesting decision by adi to revive this obscure model.
