Are adidas Dropping a Box Shoe for April Fools?

From the Big Red Boot to Rat Shoes, we’ve seen our fair share of gimmicky sneakers the past few years. As April Fools approaches, adidas looks to be getting in on the fun with what they’re calling the Box Shoe.

The Box Shoe is pretty self explanatory, literally turning the iconic blue adidas box into a sneaker. Trefoils and the 3 Stripes appear throughout in white with adidas stating that the Box Shoe is made from ‘natural fibers’ (cardboard) and features a boxy fit and chunky laces. To really drive home that this is an April Fools joke, adidas has given the Box Shoe the product code AF0104.
