The adidas Country Returns in an OG Colourway

While the adidas Samba and Gazelle are all the rage at the moment, adidas continues to tap their extensive archive and bring back sneakers of the past. With the help of Wales Bonner, the Three Stripes have brought back the adidas Country last year and now OG colourways are starting to release such as this white/green colourway.

Originally released in 1973 as a trail runner, the sneaker most famously was on the feet of Axel Foley, the character played by Eddie Murphy in the first Beverly Hills Cop and has garnered a cult following in ta. Dressed in a white leather upper with natural suede overlays placed on the heel and T-toe, green accents the sneaker on the 3 Stripes and heeltab. adidas branding is seen on the tongue in green as well with a gum outsole finishing off the sneaker.

The adidas Country OG is available now via adidas’ channels and at retailers such as Up There.
