After plenty of , have officially announced the 20, designed in partnership with the International Space Station’s U.S. National Laboratory. The game-changing runner has received a host of out-of-this-world upgrades – literally – with the ISS facilitating testing of the BOOST moulding process in space.
Up top, the Primeknit has been refined with a data-driven technology dubbed Tailored Fiber Placement (TFP), creating a more precise knit for optimal fit. The purple-gradient BOOST midsole is spruced up with Torsion spring and Stretchweb tech on the Continental rubber outsole, improving energy transfer on past UB models. Aesthetically, the midfoot cage gets a fresh new texture, while the tongues feature an ISS U.S. National Laboratory space patch.
The adidas UltraBOOST 20 will release in three colourways on December 6 at adidas and select retailers.
