adidas Officially Unveil the Harden Vol. 7
Basketball, Philadelphia 76er and former MVP have officially announced his seventh signature sneaker with the Three Stripes: the adidas
‘With the Harden Vol. 7, we wanted to create a shoe that, like James, blurs the lines between performance, fashion and lifestyle,’ explains Eric Wise, adidas Basketball’s Global General Manager. ‘That’s exactly what we needed the Harden Vol. 7 to be. A true embodiment of style, ingenuity, swagger and ultimately confidence.’
Debuting in two colourways, Red Luxury and Silver Metallic, the Harden Vol. 7 blends performance with elevated design. The upper features a knit bootie construction with padded quarter panels and a toecap for extra protection and durability in high-wear areas. adidas branding is kept to a minimum with the Three Stripes stitched on the quarter panels to blend in with the rest of the upper and again on the double-layered heel counter, which also brings added support and stability.
Going down to the midsole, the Harden Vol. 7 uses Lightstrike to increase responsiveness and on-court feel, with BOOST used in the heel for extra impact protection. A full-length propulsion plate brings rigidity to the sneaker when Harden does what he does best: shift and decelerate. The outsole incorporates a duo of radial and herringbone patterns – perfect for changing directions on a dime.
The adidas Harden Vol. 7 is set to drop on March 2, 2023, via adidas.com and at select retailers for $160.
