As we reach the 25th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, adidas celebrates the generation-defining historical milestone with a series of German made . Also sharing a silver anniversary this year, the ZX8000s pay tribute to three of the most iconic gateways to West Germany during the period between 1949 to 1989, Checkpoint Alpha, Bravo and Charlie. Made in the last remaining sneaker factory in Germany from premium suedes and leathers, each shoe reflects the geographical surroundings of the checkpoints, symbolizing the passages that connected East and West Germany before the collapse of the Wall. They drop tomorrow, Saturday November 8.
