The adidas Top Ten 2000 Arrives in Team-Ready Colours
The 1990s spawned some of the most memorable basketball shoes of all time, and the sits comfortably among the giants. Debuting in 1996, the performance model under the EQT (Equipment) series prioritised outright court prowess – but it turned out pretty proficient for casual use as well. It’s back in 2023 with a series of simple colours branded ‘Team’.
All the familiar features have been retained, from the textile upper bands – contrasted with splashes of colours – to exaggerated herringbone traction that wraps the sides for grip at all angles. Plus, plenty of adidas performance logos are scattered throughout.
These new editions drop the EQT branding found on previous releases, substituting it instead with ‘Team’ nomenclature on the sides. Given the options of green, red, blue, and purple, these pairs are likely intended as a versatile complement to grassroots teams worldwide.
The Top Ten 2000 is available right now from adidas.
