adidas Unveil the ZX 8000 'Kirschblütenallee' Pack, Inspired by the Hanami/Yozakura Festival
Back in 1990, over €1 million was raised in Japan to plant cherry blossoms in Berlin as part of the Hanami/Yozakura festival, which marked the reunification of Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Harking back to that good deed, have unveiled two new as part of the ‘Kirschblütenallee’ pack.
The ‘Hanami’ colourway is blessed with a pretty tonal pink scheme with hits of red, no doubt referencing the familiar colours of cherry blossom in bloom. Meanwhile, the ‘Yozakura’ colourway is based off the blossoms in their evening form, dressed in a grey palette with pink details. Both pairs sport Tokyo and Berlin lace dubraes, sakura graphics, and picnic mat–inspired insoles referencing the popular tradition of Japan’s Hanami/Yozakura festival.
The adidas ‘Kirschblütenallee’ pack arrives at select retailers like HANON on March 28. You can enter the raffle now.
