In-Hand: adidas Yeezy Slide ‘Onyx’
Originally debuting in 2019 (via a trio of region exclusive releases), the Slide continues to arrive in downcast compositions in 2022, the lights-out ‘Onyx’ colourway making an appearance at in Miami (alongside its counterpart).
There's now an in-hand look at the murdered-out Yeezy Slide ‘Onyx’, the minimalist rendition slated to arrive later this week. Constructed with injected EVA foam for lightweight durability, the Yeezy Slide also installs a soft top layer in the footbed for extra comfort. Down below, the outsole utilises grooves for flexibility and support. Unlike Pharrell's Chancletas Hu or adi's in-house lounge-ready options, the Yeezy Slide doesn't utilise BOOST technology. Of course if this changed in the future, the price tag would reflect the added tech.
No doubt picking up on some of the momentum of the recent clog and croc momentum in recent years, the Yeezy Slide ‘Onyx’ is scheduled to land on March 7. The retail price is $60.
