Update March 31, 2023: Teddy Santis has taken to his Instagram stories again, teasing the upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2. A release may be imminent, so stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for the details!

Teddy Santis is one of the most important key players in the industry right now. As the Aimé Leon Dore founder fostering an ongoing partnership with New Balance, he’s been killing it. Alongside New Balance, he’s brought dozens of fresh takes to the brand’s storied 990 series, churning out stacks of iterations that have included classic grey and also bright, popping colours.

While epic 990v1s and 990v2s are what’s come to be expected from his output, Santis is now looking to another silhouette from New Balance: the 806v2. The shoe was reignited a couple of years ago in 2019 via collaborations with brands like thisisneverthat, END. and more. Now, ALD appear to have created three colourways for the runner. Recently revealed in one of Santis’ famous Instagram Story dumps, the trio of colours could be arriving this year and include green, blue and red. Each comes complete with gold accents to deliver the luxurious ALD vibe – along with plenty of white mesh. Aimé Leon Dore’s branding strikes the insoles and tongues.
