Aimé Leon Dore's New Balance 991 Colab Is Dropping Again!

Update June 1, 2022: After releasing earlier this week via a raffle, both colourways of the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 991 will see a standard drop via the ALD webstore and at the brand's flagship location in NYC at 11 AM EST on June 3. The MSRP is still set at $275, and the shoes are accompanied by a full set of apparel modelled by rising soccer star Bukayo Saka. and are takin' it to the UK on their latest collaborative effort: a duo of ultra-premium takes on the . ALD's first MADE in the UK colab, these 991s were produced at the famed factory and originally revealed by ALD founder during an enormous . They were also recently loaded onto the ALD webstore for a raffle.
Each pair is based around cream mesh – a Santis favourite that's often seen on his colabs and in-line work with NB on the – and rich forest green suede overlays, but one uses premium peanut butter brown leather for an alternate take on the classic beef 'n' broc colourway while the other opts for a simpler look with high-end grey suede. Both are completed by co-branded heel hits, MADE in UK tongue tags and two-tone ENCAP midsoles.
The shoes are also accompanied by a video campaign highlighting the synergy between England and ALD's home borough of Queens, NY. The short clip shows a large group walking down a street as Mobb Deep's 'Shook Ones, Part II' plays in the background. Of course, everyone's kitted out in the latest and greatest from ALD and NB.
As mentioned above, the on-site raffle for the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 991 collection is closed, but a global release date is likely to be announced soon. Each shoe is priced at $275, a premium MSRP representative of its high-quality construction.
