Drop Details! Air Jordan 1 Element GORE-TEX ‘Light Berry’

Toward the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, Jordan Brand reinvented what their Air Jordan 1 could be. Not only adding Element to the end of the name, but bolstering the design with water-wicking GORE-TEX, allowing us to venture outside when it’s rainy without the fear of messing up our crisp Jays! Two versions, a ‘Sail’ and ‘Black Grey’ both have already hit shelves and following our first look, we’ve now received drop details for the anticipated ‘Light Berry’ colourway.

The whole upper of the ‘Light Berry’ consists of mostly purple and black, alongside slightly off-white tones elevated by GORE-TEX and Swoosh branding scattered throughout. The whole upper has been composed using GORE-TEX material that’s ‘ guaranteed to keep you dry’. Specialised ripstop material panels have also been added to the midfoot and toebox areas. The usual perforations have also been sealed, meaning no moisture can enter!

The Air Jordan 1 Element GORE-TEX ‘Light Berry’ doesn’t have an exact global release date, but they’ve already started to hit retailers slowly and will now arrive at amongstfew today on April 5 and spots like atmos on April 10. Keep an eye on your local sneaker spot!
