Update February 13, 2024: The Air Jordan 1 High 85 'Metallic Burgundy' was supposed to drop later this week, but it looks like we're gonna have to wait a bit longer. The sneaker is now expected to drop in Summer 2024, so keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for any further updates.

It seems that 2024 is shaping up to be another big year for , as the team has been busy working on another run of retro sneakers. Having (all but) confirmed that the Air Jordan 4 ‘’ and Air Jordan 4 ‘’ will be joining the roster in 2024, it’s also been revealed that we can expect a redux of the High 85 ‘Metallic Burgundy’ - a shoe that originally launched as part of the 1985 ‘Metallic Pack’.
The colourway last dropped in 2017, and though it originally launched under the name ‘Metallic Red’, images from JD Sports UK confirm that the 2024 version takes on a slightly deeper ‘Team Red’ hue. Aside from this, the pair doesn’t stray too far from the OG, maintaining that classic ‘85 shape as well as red collars and outsoles. The style’s branding hits also arrive in the titular shade, including the Swooshes, tongue tabs and Wings insignia.
