The Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase Grabs a 'Gym Red' Getup
created the as a go-anywhere, do-anything sneaker that fused a look similar to the OG low-cut with accessible tech. After the model was revealed in a bold colourway, it's now adding on with a fresh take on the familiar 'Gym Red' colour scheme.
This upper combines white toeboxes and quarter panels with eponymous red mudugards, eyestays and Swooshes, plus hits of red branding on the black nylon tongue and black leather heel tab. White and red meet again on the midsole and outsole to complete the aesthetic assemblage.
From a technical standpoint, however, the Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase 'Gym Red' has plenty left to say. Its FlyEase fit system uses a zipper that reaches from the medial collar to the lateral heel, enabling wearers to easily put their foot in the shoe or take it out of the shoe simply by fastening or undoing the zipper. The fit is customisable as well, thanks to Velcro eyestays on the lateral half that work in tandem with elastic 'laces' to lock the foot in place.
Expect the Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase 'Gym Red' to hit the digital shelves of the Nike webstore on May 24. It'll be priced at $130.
