Official Images: Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Bred’

It’s no surprise that there’s been some legendary ‘Bred’ renditions over the years. Of course immortalised by Michael Jordan’s maiden silhouette in 1985, the indelible red and black composition has found its way to numerous Jumpman, Nike and rival brand models over the years (like the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 and Balenciaga Triple S).

While we’re accustomed to seeing the ‘Bred’ colourway on the Air Jordan 1 High, the colourway has also been adopted on various Low and Mid models, the latest Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Bred’ a testament to the silhouette’s recent resurgence (the much maligned AJ1 ‘Mid’ has surged in popularity in recent years).

Team Jumpman have now revealed official images of their upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Bred’, the colourway slated to land next month. Dressed in its familiar black and red, the Jumpman have opted for a full leather build with nylon tongues. An all-over gloss print that reads ‘Red’ and ‘Black’ gives the AJ1 Mid its own unique flair, a motif extended to the lateral midsoles where ‘Black + Red = Bred’ is printed.

Look for the Air Jordan 1 Mid GS ‘Bred’ to release on May 11. The retail price is locked at $120.
