The resurgence of the Grateful Dead style continues to empower the sneaker industry in recent months, the tie-dye phenom gracing numerous models from the Jumpman cannon, including the (taking cues from the legendary coach Phil Jackson) and the Low .
The latest psychedelic design to dilate your pupils is the Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Tie-Dye’, the model belonging to the upcoming Spring 2022 lineup. Inspired by the iconic ‘Black Toe’ colour blocking, the AJ1 Mid is rendered in a crisp white leather base and black overlays. On the rear panels the real fun begins, with rainbow hues of purple and pink elevating the design. This bold styling also extends to insoles and Jumpman branding on the tongue tags, where a solid red/pink colour palette builds on the visual hierarchy. Down below, white midsoles are paired with black outsoles.
Look for the Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Tie-Dye’ to arrive (in a full size run) over the coming weeks. The retail price is $125.
