Update September 2, 2022: According to sneaker aficionado @zsneakerheadz, the women’s Air Jordan 1 ‘Starfish’ will be arriving next month on October 27. Stay locked for official confirmation.

Update July 13, 2022: The Air Jordan 1 ‘Starfish’ was initially meant to arrive this month but was delayed until September. Now, sources are stating that the drop date has been moved again, this time to October. The official images are out, so peruse those above while you wait for updates.

Update May 17, 2022: The Air Jordan 1 ‘Starfish’ was originally supposed to release on July 21, but it’s now set to drop on September 22. We don’t know if the postponement was due to supply chain issues or simple juggling of the release calendar but stay tuned for further drop updates as they’re available. Jordan Brand are expanding their roster of WNBA athletes ahead of the 2022 season‘s tip-off on May 6, and one of the newest team members is Isabelle Harrison of the Dallas Wings. Harrison is making her Jumpman debut with quite a bang, too: in the Instagram post announcing her as the newest signee to the roster, she also debuted the Air Jordan 1 ‘Starfish’.

A women‘s colourway that expands on Jordan Brand‘s popular ‘Shattered Backboard’ theme, the ‘Starfish’ surrounds its signature orange accents with ‘White,’ ‘Sail’ and ‘Cacao Wow’ hits, the last of which is used sparingly around the collar for a luxurious contrast. This luxe colour blocking is a nod to Hermès’ famed Birkin bag, a grail-level purse that sells out instantly and goes for anywhere from $12,000 to $2 million on the aftermarket! Thankfully, these AJ 1s give you Birkin-inspired flair at a much more palatable $170 price point.

You can expect the Air Jordan 1 ‘Starfish’ to release via Nike SNKRS and select Swoosh stockists on July 21. It’s been produced up to a women’s size 12, which translates to a men’s 10.5.
