The Air Jordan 11 'Gamma' Returns in 2025

The is a revered silhouette, held by many as one of the best Jordan models. honour this by protecting it – unlike other Jordans, the AJ11 has not been rinsed with countless colourways and releases. The model is typically limited to only one drop per year, but recent years have seen this expanded to two releases per year, with one of them kept extra holy by dropping in an OG colourway. While some may argue the and iterations are not OG colourways, they were both still worn by Michael Jordan on screen and on court. These colourways are widely loved and have genuine lore surrounding them; however, the same cannot be said of one of the 2025 releases: the 'Gamma'.

When the 'Gamma' landed in 2013, it was met with raised eyebrows and mixed reviews as it marked the first time a true non-OG colourway was donned by the AJ11. It was controversial then and sure to be controversial when it lands next year. The design includes a black upper with striking aquamarine Jumpmans and yellow 23s on the heel.
